Drywall services across the Diablo Valley
One trade, done to a finish standard. Every repair is textured and primed before we leave, because a bare patch is not a finished job.
Drywall Repair
Patch and blend repairs for holes, stress cracks, popped nails, failed tape seams and door-knob damage. The work is finished, textured and primed so the repaired area reads as original wall rather than a bright rectangle waiting to be painted.

Ceiling Repair
Ceilings are the hardest surface to repair invisibly: the light rakes across them and every ridge shows. Repairs are cut back to sound board, re-hung on solid framing, taped, floated wide and re-textured to match the existing pattern before priming.

Water Damage Repair
Water-damaged drywall is not a patch job until the source is stopped and the cavity is dry. Wet board and saturated insulation are removed, the opening is left open to dry or dried mechanically, and only then is it re-hung, taped, textured and sealed. Closing a wet wall traps the problem.

Texture Matching
A structurally perfect patch still looks wrong if the texture is off by a hair. Existing patterns are sampled, mixed to the right consistency and sprayed or troweled to match — including the older hand-applied finishes common in mid-century Contra Costa homes.

Popcorn Ceiling Removal
Popcorn ceilings applied before the early 1980s can contain asbestos, so testing comes first and is non-negotiable. Once cleared, the ceiling is scraped, skim-coated flat or re-textured to your chosen finish, and the room is sealed and protected throughout.

Drywall Installation
Hang-tape-texture for remodels, garage conversions, ADUs, basements and additions. Board hung to spec, corners beaded, seams floated, and the finish level agreed up front so smooth-wall jobs are priced as smooth-wall jobs rather than surprise change orders.

Common questions
How much does drywall repair cost?
It depends far more on access, height and texture than on the size of the hole. A single small patch at standard ceiling height is the least expensive job we do; the same patch on a two-storey entry wall costs several times more because of staging and protection. We give written quotes before any work starts.
Can you match my existing wall texture?
Yes — orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, hand-troweled and Level 5 smooth. For unusual or hand-applied finishes we prepare a sample panel and get your sign-off before touching the visible wall. Where a blend genuinely will not disappear, we will tell you that re-texturing the whole wall is the better answer rather than leaving you with a patch you can see.
Do you paint after the repair?
We finish, texture and prime every repair so it is ready for paint and the sheen matches. Final colour coats are usually best handled by your painter, who has your exact paint — but ask, because on small jobs we can often finish it out.
How long does a typical repair take?
Joint compound has to dry between coats, so most repairs are one long day or two shorter visits. Anyone promising a finished, textured, invisible repair in ninety minutes is skipping a coat.
My ceiling has a water stain. Can you just cover it?
Not responsibly. The source has to be stopped and the cavity dried first, otherwise you are paying to hide an active leak. Once it is dry we cut back the damaged board, rebuild, seal with a stain-blocking primer and re-texture so the ring does not bleed back through.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free and written. For straightforward repairs we can often give you a firm range from photos before anyone drives out.
Which areas do you cover?
The Diablo Valley core — Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Alamo, Danville, Clayton and Martinez — plus San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton and East County out to Antioch and Brentwood.
